There is no single energy rebate that applies to every Australian household in 2026. Assistance can include state or territory energy concessions, targeted government bill-relief programs and, in some cases, rebates linked to eligible concession cards or medical needs. Availability, eligibility and payment timing depend on your location and circumstances, and are decided by the relevant government department or energy provider. Check your state or territory government website, servicesaustralia.gov.au and energy.gov.au, or ask your retailer which concessions can be applied to your account.
